Yep, this is the donation page – explaining why and what you are supporting –  a lot of electronics and programming sites

General costs are hosting, domain name registrations and in the case of the electronic sites – a lot of purchases out of our own pockets. There are obviously a few other minor ones but they are the main ones.

We have had our own on many electronic boards – there are a wide range of SBCs for example but the cost is prohibitive and as mentioned we don't get freebies – personally from a neutrality point of view with electronics board and sensors, that is actually not a bad thing. There are a few Youtube channels that I could mention who keep shilling for products they get

With the ever decreasing ad revenues (due to various reasons) then its also an opportunity on the few sites we have them to remove them completely.

The donation links are on all the sites below – we have several options as we know that some people do not like certain sites – so hopefully we have that covered

Sites

Yes, we actually have a few sites – so any donations are going to support these.

So as you can see a few under the belt – if you didn't know about some of the electronic ones then you have them now. The Arduino, ESP32, ESP8266 and Raspberry Pi ones being on the go for many years now.

Again, we don't receive any electronics related parts, no sponsored expensive Raspberry Pi products.

We are mulling over a Youtube channel, we do have an electronics one but again its a balance between production costs and value – again we don't want to be constantly shilling for the products you see on most Youtube channels – scammy browser extensions, not really owning land and having a title in Scotland and rubbish mobile games being 3 exceptionally good example
